1Scope and Acceptance

These Terms of Use and Legal Notice (the Terms) govern access to and use of the MADPUNK website, accounts, downloads, Alpha materials, community-facing features, and related online services made available through madpunk.com (collectively, the Services). The Services are operated by Seven Platform Solutions LLC (SPS, we, us, or our).

By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, downloading materials, or submitting feedback or other content through the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services. Additional terms may apply to specific activities, including the MADPUNK Community License, creator submission terms, crowdfunding terms, or future paid products. Where specific terms conflict with these Terms for the activity they govern, the specific terms control.

2Accounts and Access

Some content and downloads may require a registered account. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping access credentials secure, and for activity carried out through your account. You must not impersonate another person, create accounts for abusive or unlawful purposes, or attempt to access another user account.

Authentication may be provided through third-party infrastructure. You may be required to verify an email address or complete security checks. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, other users, our rights, or applicable law.

3Alpha Materials and Digital Downloads

MADPUNK is currently presented in Alpha. Rules, missions, guides, character materials, lore, interfaces, features, and other content may be incomplete, experimental, revised, replaced, or withdrawn as development continues. Alpha materials are provided for play, testing, evaluation, and personal enjoyment.

Unless a download expressly states otherwise, SPS grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access, download, use, and print the official MADPUNK materials for your own personal tabletop play and evaluation. This license does not transfer ownership and does not authorize resale, republication, redistribution, commercial exploitation, removal of rights notices, or creation of derivative products from official MADPUNK materials except where a separate written license expressly permits it.

4Intellectual Property and Trademarks

Unless otherwise stated, the MADPUNK website, official texts, rules, lore, characters, settings, visual identity, logos, artwork, graphics, designs, downloadable materials, and other official content are owned by, licensed to, or controlled by Seven Platform Solutions LLC and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

MADPUNK(TM), the MADPUNK wordmark, logos, and related brand elements may not be used in a manner that implies sponsorship, endorsement, official status, or affiliation without express written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants any right to register or claim ownership of a MADPUNK name, mark, logo, domain name, social handle, trade dress, or confusingly similar identifier.

5Community License and Community Works

Independent creators may create certain MADPUNK-related works under the separate MADPUNK Community License. That license defines the categories of works it covers, the permissions granted, required attribution, branding rules, prohibited uses, and the creator ownership framework. These Terms do not expand the Community License.

A Community Work is not official MADPUNK canon and is not sponsored, approved, or endorsed by SPS unless SPS expressly agrees otherwise in writing. Inclusion in a community listing, community page, or submission system does not by itself make a work official, transfer the creator’s ownership, or give SPS publication, adaptation, canon, or merchandising rights beyond the permissions expressly granted by the applicable license or a separate written agreement.

6Playtest Feedback and Creator Submissions

You may send playtest feedback, bug reports, comments, suggestions, or other non-confidential feedback about the rules, website, or Services. You grant SPS a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, analyze, adapt, and incorporate that feedback into MADPUNK and the Services without compensation or attribution, unless we expressly agree otherwise.

The preceding feedback license does not apply to an original story, Mission, artwork, Chronicle, or other creative work clearly submitted as a Creator Work. Creator Works remain subject to the MADPUNK Community License, any specific submission terms, and any separate written agreement between the creator and SPS. If a playtest form offers public credit, any publication of your name or chosen credit will follow the option you select in that form.

7Crowdfunding and Future Products

The website may describe planned crowdfunding campaigns, physical products, miniatures, books, rewards, exclusives, release plans, or other future offerings. Unless and until a specific campaign or sale is launched under its own binding terms, those descriptions are informational and may change.

Registering for crowdfunding notifications does not constitute a purchase, reservation, investment, guarantee of availability, or promise that a campaign or product will launch on a particular date. Any future purchase, preorder, crowdfunding pledge, subscription, or paid service will be governed by the terms presented at that time.

8Acceptable Use

You may not use the Services to break the law, infringe third-party rights, distribute malware, interfere with security or availability, scrape or extract data at abusive scale, bypass access restrictions, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, harass others, submit unlawful content, or use the Services in a way that could damage SPS, MADPUNK, other users, or third parties.

You must not use automated systems to create accounts, overwhelm the Services, defeat rate limits, or collect personal data from other users without a lawful basis and appropriate authorization.

9Third-Party Services and Links

The Services rely on third-party infrastructure and may link to third-party websites or services. Authentication, hosting, and email delivery may be provided by third parties such as Clerk, Vercel, and Resend. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices where they act independently.

SPS is not responsible for third-party websites, content, products, or services that are outside our control. A link or integration does not constitute endorsement unless expressly stated.

10Availability, Changes, and Disclaimers

The Services and all Alpha materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SPS disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, replace, or restrict any part of the Services or Alpha materials at any time. We do not guarantee that downloads will remain available, that Alpha rules will remain unchanged, or that planned features, campaigns, products, or community programs will be released.

11Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SPS and its officers, managers, employees, contractors, licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or anticipated savings arising from or related to the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SPS’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid directly to SPS for the relevant Services during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100. These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SPS from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your infringement of third-party rights, or content you submit in violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. SPS may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe you have materially breached these Terms, created a security or legal risk, infringed rights, abused the Services, or where suspension is reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of MADPUNK or the website.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, feedback rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions, will survive.

13Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be waived, the state courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming, and the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services.

Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory protections or jurisdictional rights that applicable law does not permit the consumer to waive.

14Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms as the website, Alpha, community tools, or legal requirements evolve. The current version and effective date will be posted on the website. If a change materially affects registered users, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
