Physical description

Height: 1.69 m. Thin build, long face, deep wrinkles, and a prominent nose. Long, thick white beard. Dark eyes with a penetrating gaze.

Career

Little is known of Al Salamán's origins. He presented himself to Arabia's royal family after the Great War, impressing the young Sultan with his wisdom, intelligence, and apparent ability to glimpse the future.

He was introduced into the royal court and appointed Imam at Jabal Alasid. During his years in power, he has served as the Sultan's spiritual and political adviser; the Sultan holds his words in immense regard. Aware of Al Salamán's influence at court, IURR and FNC intelligence agencies have tried unsuccessfully to uncover any information about his past.

Character and interests

Stern in temperament, he spends most of his time in the Jabal Alasid mosque reading the Quran and reciting prayers. He rarely leaves the sacred temple except at the Sultan's request. Mysterious, charismatic, and imposing, his speeches combine philosophy, mysticism, and religious precepts, filled with wordplay, riddles, and poetry. He is deeply religious and conservative.

Capabilities

Highly charismatic and persuasive, he can move even skeptics with his sermons. He holds Arabia's royal family spellbound, particularly the Sultan.

He is credited with a possible ability to anticipate future events, although neither its existence nor its extent has been confirmed.

Intelligence value

He is a decisive intermediary for reaching the Sultan's inner circle and learning Arabia's positions before they become public agreements. His ability to persuade and influence the Arabian court is among the most coveted intelligence assets, although he has shown himself extremely reluctant to cooperate with any intelligence service.
