Physical description
Estimated height: 1.80 m. Thin, with a narrow, angular face. Very blond hair with a center part, light-colored eyes, metal-rimmed glasses, and a small goatee.
Education and training
Studied Medicine in Boston, followed by a doctorate in Advanced Genetics at Columbia University. He completed all his education in half the usual time.
Career
He is the son of a German war refugee who also holds a doctorate in Advanced Genetics. He worked at Bikairé Atoll for three years before taking his current position. At Haven, he manages resources, maintains relationships with its sponsors, Nobel & Midland Chemicals and ALEC, and preserves the institution’s discretion.

He is one of the century’s most brilliant minds. His pronounced lack of empathy allows him to exercise authority without emotional involvement in the expectations of those under his responsibility. His scientific interest lies in learning from EVERYMAN’s failures, exploiting the knowledge they contain, and attempting to recover cases considered lost.

He possesses psychic anesthesia: through physical contact or concentration, he can calm people, induce sleep, or suppress sensation for hours, days, or weeks. This power is a direct means of keeping numerous former Everymen under control.
