The Dutchmen

Those who answer to neither bloc

Wiki

The Dutchmen are a revolutionary organization that attacks the Blue Bloc’s political, corporate, and financial elites. Its members wear false iron jaws, their steel teeth fixed in a permanent grimace. For them, the call to devour the rich has both a symbolic and a literal meaning.

Ideology and recruitment

The Dutchmen blame political corruption, labor exploitation, and wars on unchecked capitalism, the power of megacorporations, and the concentration of wealth. They believe eliminating these elites is necessary to prevent the world’s destruction.

They recruit disillusioned young people, exploited workers, people abandoned by their employers, and other impoverished groups. Their rhetoric turns resentment of the elites into a revolutionary cause and demands absolute allegiance: anyone who opposes it is treated as an enemy.

Organization and methods

The organization maintains numerous urban cells across Blue Bloc countries. Its members owe allegiance to their spiritual leader and his anticapitalist ideology. The network’s size is unknown, and the varied backgrounds of its members make its attacks difficult to anticipate.

Its operations include the disappearance of investors, robberies of investment banks, and televised executions of corrupt politicians. Its attacks on the elites and its use of violence have won support among disaffected groups while also provoking revulsion at the brutality of its methods.

Weapons and relations with the blocs

The Dutchmen possess Core-powered weapons and machinery. Their sources of funding and supplies remain unclear. Their masks provide limited protection from radiation, without replacing preparation under the Tungsten Protocol.

The FNC accuses the Red Bloc of funding the organization and using its attacks against Columbian interests. The IURR publicly denies these accusations.
