Tin Men

The Chelovenchiki, known as Tin Men, are individuals who have replaced parts of their bodies with heavy machinery. Their mechanical components depend on compact Cores implanted in their bodies, whose energy supply is essential to their survival.

Engineering the body

Core technology allows the integration of machinery that would be too heavy or demanding for conventional use. In the Chelovenchiki, this capability is applied directly to the body, replacing organic parts with mechanical components.

Each Tin Man’s abilities depend on the implants they carry and the extent of their reconstruction. Kuznitsa develops and manufactures these modifications as part of its work in engineering applied to the human body.

Energy dependence and maintenance

A Chelovenchik requires at least one compact Core implanted in the body. The reactors are depleted through use and must be replaced to keep the implants functioning. A continuous supply is vital.

Mechanical components also require specialized maintenance and repairs. Access to spare parts, mini-Cores, and technical support determines the wearer’s independence. Those outside the official supply network may depend on the black market to keep functioning.

Radiation and risks

Mechanical integration retains the risks inherent in Core technology. Radiation exposure requires the protective measures and maintenance injections of the Tungsten Protocol, which reduce its effects without eliminating them.

Damage to implants, reactor failures, and overloads can endanger both the machinery and its wearer’s survival.
